This is a guide to Gotham written for people planning to run a role-playing game campaign, but I found it an interesting read on its own. Lots of cute little in-jokes and character nods. The only major flaw is that it was published 10 years ago and thus feels pretty dated for what Gotham is in the comic books today. It's basically an RPG guide for events set during No Man's Land and directly after, so every page talks about NML, which can get a bit tedious after a while, as that's the equivalent of ancient history in the comic books. Worth it just for the maps, lists of hotels and restaurants, reminders of what the major sports teams and radio stations are, and the like!
