The second novel in an engaging series of German novels for second-year students. Seventeen-year-old Ben craves a car. His parents promise him one if he'll spend the summer in Turkey rebuilding the houses of earthquake victims. He doesn't want to do it but decides that it's worth it to get a car. He goes and, although he doesn't really like the work, he comes to appreciate the Turkish people and way of life. When he returns to Michigan, he makes a most unexpected decision.

Este libro me gusto porque era diferente comparado a los otros libros que he leído. Se trata de un niño que va al El Salvador y que trabaja. Conoce muchos personas y aprende mucho sobre esa cultura. Este libro sí lo recomendariá.

A mí me gusta el libro porque en Ben tiene una transformación como una persona. Al principio Ben era un persona egoísta que solo quería un carro de sus padres. Pero después de pasar tiempo en El Slavador se da cuenta de que él no necesita todo.
