USA Today bestselling author Kelly McClymer writes fairytale-inspired romances set in Victorian England (although a few characters escape to the United States), fairytale fantasy, and mom-inspired mystery.
Kelly shares her characters’ family values: she grew up with three younger sisters and has successfully raised three children of her own. She enjoys spending time with her grandchildren.
Kelly’s first published writing was for her high school newspaper and she’s been writing fiction in many forms ever since. While she explores many genres including historical romance, mystery, young adult, and fantasy, her stories share common themes: developing inner strength, the power of love in all it’s forms, triumph of good over evil, and the strength of family connection.
This book may be the least enjoyable of this series because of the sudden appearance of witchcraft in the character of the hateful grandmother who has been just too horrible from the outset. Really? You want to go there? Cannot recommend in any way, shape or form.
This is a truly romantic series with lots of drama. I think I like this book best so far, with bookworms Arthur and Hero as the stars.
Forced to marry after a night alone locked in s bookstore together, even though nothing happens because they each believe they love someone else, it's the start of many misunderstandings.
They are on a quest for the original manuscript for Le Morte d'Arthur. They are also trying to discover who is trying to harm Hero, each time coming close to killing her.
They realize who it is when it's too late to confront the person, but they, and their friends, find the love they've been looking for.
Ok...so....I have to say that this one did not make my 5 star rating like the others have. Author's story was just a tad slow and a bit weird to me. It didn't seem to flow like the others did... It wasn't a horrible read, but compared to the rest...it fell short for me. I do however believe that Kelly McClymer is a talented author and I look forward to reading more from her.
Just not madly in love with this series. The last two Heroes have been pretty lame. They haven't been very assertive about what they want. Just wishywashy! Really annoying I need a hero with more alpha to them hopefully I'll get it in the next one. Story was just okay!
