I have read several books on the ice age floods in Washington State, and this book is one of my favorites. It was written based on road trips you could take in order to see the different ways that the floods created the amazing variety of landscapes in Washington and Oregon. The maps are very detailed and show you exactly where to see the interesting geologic landforms created by the floods.
