Harper Perry may love being a teacher but one thing she hates are parent/teacher conferences. They just never seem to end well; there is always some parent that becomes irate. Harper especially dreads the arrival of her problem student’s parents. However, the night suddenly brightens as tall, dark and studly walks into the room.

Nathaniel Pearson has missed the last six years of his son’s life and he plans to fix the damage he has done by not being there for Scott. Attending a parent/teacher conference seems like a good place to start. He never expected one of Scott’s teachers to set him on fire. Perhaps a private parent/teacher meeting is required. Can Nathaniel manage a relationship with a beautiful woman while trying to mend fences with his son?

Schooled is a superhot romance. The connection between Harper and Nathaniel is drool worthy. The way Ms. Blue describes Nathaniel through Harper’s eyes is sizzling. I really like Nathaniel. He and Harper are good together but I really wanted more concerning his relationship with his son. I couldn’t stand Harper’s friend Carlita. Most of the scenes with her felt unnecessary. I also didn’t like Harper’s reaction to where Nathaniel has been the past six years. Granted, he should have told her sooner but her reaction seemed too far off the mark for me.

I thought the plot and the sentiment were good, I just didn't particularly care for the way it was presented. the story was way too short for where the author was trying to go. I would have preferred a longer to story to make it more believable.
