After recently wallowing in nostalgic fun watching this 1981 TV series, I was looking forward to reading the novelisation and it didn't disappoint. I really enjoyed escaping into the adventures of the dashing Jack Vincent. Entertaining easy reading with an atmospheric Cornish location but a sad ending, sob. Pleased to have had it signed by cover star Oliver Tobias at a recent convention - this made the reading even more fun!

"Smuggler" novelizes 9 of the 13 episodes of this family-oriented series. It's set around 1810, and is about Jack Vincent, an ex-Royal Navy officer who quit in disgust and turned to (what else?) smuggling. It's breezy fun, and well-written.
