La verdad es que ha llenado un vacío en mi corazón, la necesidad de saber que Jehová me ama y me cuida. Ahora me siento mucho más cerca de él y de su amado Hijo. Deseo hablarle a todo el mundo de este libro y dárselo a todos mis seres queridos.” Así se expresó una testigo de Jehová sobre el nuevo libro de 320 páginas presentado en las asambleas de distrito “Celosos proclamadores del Reino”, celebradas en 2002 y 2003. Veamos algunas de sus características y por qué se ha publicado.
Características del libro
¿Qué contiene esta nueva publicación? Toda la información de los dos artículos de estudio de este número... ¡y muchísimo más! Se compone de 31 capítulos de un tamaño similar al de un artículo de estudio de La Atalaya. Después del prólogo y los primeros tres capítulos, el libro se divide en cuatro secciones, una por cada atributo cardinal de Jehová. Las secciones comienzan explicando en qué consiste esa cualidad en particular, y, a continuación, varios capítulos muestran cómo la manifiesta Jehová. En cada sección hay un capítulo sobre Jesús. ¿Por qué? Pues bien, Jesús dijo: “El que me ha visto a mí ha visto al Padre también” (Juan 14:9). Como reflejo perfecto de Jehová, en Jesús vemos impactantes ejemplos de las cualidades de Dios en acción. Todas las secciones concluyen con un capítulo que nos enseña a imitar la cualidad de Jehová de la que tratan. En su examen de tales atributos divinos, esta nueva publicación hace referencia a todos los libros de la Biblia.
El libro Acerquémonos a Jehová también presenta algunas características especiales. En todos los capítulos, excepto en el primero, hay un recuadro titulado “Preguntas para meditar”. Los textos bíblicos y las preguntas que allí aparecen no tienen la finalidad de repasar el capítulo, sino de ayudarnos a emplear la Biblia para meditar profundamente sobre el tema. Le recomendamos que lea con atención todos los pasajes bíblicos citados y entonces reflexione en la pregunta, procurando ver cómo poner por obra lo que aprende. Tal meditación lo conmoverá y lo acercará más y más a Jehová (Salmo 19:14).
Las láminas del libro Acerquémonos a Jehová fueron objeto de cuidadosa investigación y preparación a fin de que resultaran instructivas y motivadoras. Diecisiete capítulos contienen hermosas ilustraciones a toda plana de escenas bíblicas.

This book uses the Bible to show us who the true God is, how much He loves us and it shows us from the Bible how we can develop a close relationship with the most sovereign of the universe.

It was THE best book I have ever read! You can not help but feel close to our God Jehovah. (Psalms 83:18) It goes through so many of his qualities Wisdom, Justice, Power & Love. Truly a book everyone in the world should read.

Read it and Re-Read it. I'm not a Jehovah's witness, but the information in this book is absolutely beautiful and educational. Find a Jehovah's witness or show up at a Kingdom hall and get a copy. The one I have is small enough to keep in a purse. :)

This book is obviously for those familiar with the name 'Jehovah' for Almighty God and in being a distinct personage from Jesus Christ whom history proves himself called out to this very same God on the night before his betrayal in the garden according to ancient records. This book appeals also to the curious or in fact anybody whether a practicing worshipper, a student or one who has taken the time to delve further into the ancient writings to discover that 'Yahweh' is actually 'Jehovah' in its english form.
Yahweh, common to many is taken from the original Hebrew YHWH without vowels and translates from its very first form as the Tetrgrammaton which archaeological studies have proven was recognised as the name of the Sovereign Creator, Almighty Alpha and Omega, Ancient of Days, all descriptions of Yahweh/Jehovah. Scholarly studies have also discovered that this God was greatly feared as very mighty and powerful for his great saving acts in the past, as described in the Bible regarding Sodom and Gomorrah and The Red Sea Crossing. Today, archaeology has found and proven that the Biblical records of such major events are factual and true among other discoveries crediting Biblical accounts.
'Jehovah' therefore is recognised still to this day as a powerful God, also known as the 'Living God' who's Word does not go out and return without results, all his promises consistently coming true throughout the ages and hence millions unreservedly worship and praise this God.
Worshippers have come out of many different religious backgrounds also, leaving them completely even after years of devotion to openly declare with notable genuinefelt joy that they have found a real freedom and profound life purpose since doing so in order to worship this great God Jehovah. It is expressed by individuals that they have never experienced such deep happiness and fulfillment before coming to know the God Jehovah. This consistent attitude and incredible way of life that devotees enjoy, remains unrivalled by any other denomination despite this dedicated group being considered a minority as say compared with the Catholic Church.
Each year, those following 'Jehovah' continue to increase by such outstanding figures it defies all human rationality.
2019 alone saw people flocking to the God Jehovah and being baptized to the final figure of 300,000. This equates to over 5000 each and every weekend over just 12 months.
This book therefore is to be rated 5 stars in that it appeals quickly to so many persons from varied backgrounds and languages it is part of a modern day miracle. For those who wish to see what all the fuss is about it is suggested you go along to be with these people at one of their conventions or request more information online from their official website JW.ORG and go in open minded like a fresh student attending university.
It should be illustrated however, that attending class with a mind already challenged by the teachings of conflicting teachers and hoping to receive any clarity firsthand will make it incredibly frustrating for you if you sincerely would like to see what joys you too could gain and share by finding out how you can meet this Living God and worship him too properly. Leave the misconceptions baggage behind to benefit.!
Reading this book myself it was very soothing to say the least. Sincere, warm and often breathtaking I have since researched more fully this God and have no doubt he is indeed very real.

Un libro que te ayuda a meditar en la magnitud del poder, sabiduría, justicia y amor de Dios. Porque sabemos que él es todo eso, sin embargo, la magnitud y el alcance de su creación y sus pensamientos, puesta en contraste con lo que ha llegado a reconocer y entender la ciencia hoy, no puede más que maravillarte y aumentar tu fé. Nos enseña que aunque somos infinitamente inferiores a Dios, la humanidad es para él su creación más amada, tanto como los ángeles. Y todo lo que nos rodea, naturaleza, animales y plantas, es un regalo noble y misericordioso para nuestro bienestar y felicidad. Si nos ama tanto, es porque quiere que estemos siempre muy cerquita de él.

The best book that I have ever read and studied, there is so much good in the publication, all to improve your relationship with Jehovah God and to make a better person of yourself, predicated on the scripture James 4:8, Draw close to God, and he will draw close to you. Before you engage with the Jehovah's Witnesses you should know the truth behind the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society, the organization behind this book. They are not what you think they are.
Here a few places to check out and a few tips you.
1) Be aware of what they're teaching you.
2) Ask about their shunning practices and what happens to your family if they don't convert too (note they will lie and say they don't do this. But if you ask around, and ask enough people you will find out this is one of the things the people who have what they call the "Truth" lie about.
3) Ask what the policy of abuse victims and children who molested is. And why, does the victim have to confront the accused? Why are the criminals not handed over to the police?

Amazing book helping one to understand God's qualities of love, wisdom, justice and power. Such a beautiful eye-opener as it illuminates these qualities. Sometimes need to really look at what we understand things to be and confirm IF those things, like love (1 Corinthians 13), ACTUALLY means what we think/have experienced it to be, when it's held up to the light of Truth found in God's Word. For if 'God is Love' then don't we need to understand what love truly is, not just our interpretation or experience with it?
These concepts ARE defined in the Bible, but we have to take the time to look for ourselves. This book helps break it down to be able to meditate on and digest, so that we too can 'understand the fear of Jehovah and find the knowledge of God'- Proverbs 2:5

This book really sucks and is just more propaganda from a cult. Jehovah is not the God of the bible's name. Of course anyone with their head on straight knows the bible is not real anyway. JWs trash the catholics all day long, but use their invented form of gods name so liberally and did not re add any of the books that the Council of Nicia took out!

How can people actually draw close to the all powerful creator? Is that actually possible. If we look deeply into the Bible, then we will see that God has rally done much to reveal himself to us.
This book reveals God by looking at his four main, or cardinal attributes: Power, Justice, Wisdom and Love.
