great erotic short story! when jocelyn's friend invites her to a party at a pleasure mansion,to get her over a bad relelationship shes not sure if its a good idea. once inside jocelyn starts to feel like herself again and with the help of a mystery man and others she is freed in mind and body again. great quick read! The only reason I didn't give a 5 star is because of it being a short read. This is erotica done right!

This was a short quick hot read that left me wanting to read more. When Jocelyn is dragged to a party by her friend Beth she is torn with wanting to stay or go. Jocelyn has become a shell of herself thanks to her ex. Jocelyn goes on a discovery of her self and her body as she plunges into a erotic displays, and BDSM. This was the first book in a new series to me and I wished that it was longer. This was my first time reading this author this book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series.

I really enjoyed the read. Very quick and sudden, leaves you wanting more. I only read it because the blurb really intrigued me but I hate how it says book one when it feels like a chapter only.

This was interesting. Is not my kind of book, but I enjoyed some parts of it.
What I liked the most was the mystery behind the placed they visited. I was very intrigues by it and by the man Jocelyn met. I ended the book wanting to know more about him.
I wasn’t too impressed by Jocelyn, she wasn’t a likable character, but it’s just the first book in a series, so I will give her a break and see what happens next. I hope I’ll change my opinion about her.
The plot was ok, but maybe because is just the first book, I was left wishing for so much more. I don’t feel like I really got to know the characters and I ended up with a lot of questions.
The ending was a nice surprise, I wasn’t expecting it, but it was a nice promise of something more to anyone who got hooked with Jocelyn’s story. As I mentions it wasn’t really my kind of book, but I do want to know what will happen to Façade and most important I want to know more about that man. I will surely keep reading this series.

A great short erotic tale. Jocelyn is enticed to attend a party by her friend, only it turns out to be not just any party, but leads her on a voyage of discovery.

This is my first book by this author. I liked her style and descriptive narrative. The storyline looks promising but I felt Jocelyn accepted everything a tad too soon. An@l s*x for the first time, easy, and her full cooperation?. I found this a little far fetched. As for the girl on girl action, I felt somewhat uncomfortable. I will read more of this series and see how it goes. The blurb for the other books looks intriguing. I do sometimes enjoy dark and erotic fiction, I just hope there’s no more girl on girl action and if there is, it is fully mentioned with an update to the blurbs.

One night of adulterated passion and steamy no holds bared sex leads Jocelyn down a path that she had no idea she wanted so bad. But can one walk away from their life only to become someone else's possession and to have anything done to them? While short this story packs a great punch. The characters are walking a very thin line into debauchery and it was so enjoyable to walk in their shoes for a short time. I am looking forward to seeing where this tale goes.

Jocelyn’s badly battered self-esteem is quickly restored and new opportunities arise for her. How will she respond?

EDIT 4/27/2016: I've been in conversations with the author regarding this story and I wanted to update my review to include some great information she gave to me. This was originally going to be a stand-a-lone story, but due to popular demand, she has decided to continue with Jocelyn's adventures. I've also been assured that future stories will be longer, at novella length, and will show some deeper sides to the characters and more character development as a whole. Based on the info I got from the author, I've changed my mind and will be continuing the series as it is released. I also just want to thank Lisette for reaching out to me to give me this info so that I could make a more educated judgement on continuing the story. Thanks Lisette!
In this story the MC, Jocelyn, has withdrawn into herself physically and emotionally after an unhealthy relationship with her ex. Her best friend, Beth, convinces her to go with her to a surprise party to try and loosen up and have a bit of fun. When they get there, it is all sorts of “Eyes Wide Shut” stuff going on. Including all the women wearing black G-strings, no top, and a mask for secrecy. The man she meets almost immediately takes her under his wing and shows her the level of depravity that she has so long craved but has been afraid to go for again.
The whole sex scene (as that was basically what this story was) seemed a little unbelievable given the level of caution that Jocelyn first portrays at the beginning of the story, and the amount of fear she is still in from how her ex treated her. I didn’t really find her instant change from “I’m leaving, I’m not doing this”, to “Oh, I’m going to let this masked stranger, who initially made me feel uncomfortable, do whatever he wants to me without knowing any sort of hard or soft limits, or bothering to ask me if it’s ok” rang completely false and OTT the for me.
However, if I take a step back from the story, and just try to allow the sensuality of what Jocelyn is experiencing to seep into my brain, I end up finding the story to be very much a surreal reality. It is almost a dream like state, which again reminds me of the scene in “Eyes Wide Shut” where Cruise walks into the orgy mansion for the first time and sees everything that is happening.
I do feel like the author knows what they’re doing, and knows how to craft a good story. I just don’t think I was the best audience for this particular story so I most likely won’t be continuing with this series. But, will definitely look into reading other works by Lisette Kristensen as she releases them as I definitely see the essentials of a good author in this short work.
I would recommend this story as a fun and erotic lunch time read because of its length, and would definitely say that if you enjoyed EWS, you will most likely enjoy this story. I would not recommend it if you are looking for more than to enjoy a steamy sex scene.

Talk about being open to experiment! The trust to believe that others would not hurt you drives a personal awareness that inspires confidence. And an extremely pleasurable experience was a fabulous reward. Addiction never felt so good.

Absolutely one of the best books I've read in a long time. I absolutely loved the characters and their strength. The story kept me on the edge of my seat and excited to see what was coming next. Definitely not for the meek but oh so worth your time.

this was a quick hot read and has promises of more fun nights in Facade's storyline i'm sure.
the story was well-written for the most part, with a few more typos than i'd hope for, but that is merely cosmetic.
the story unfolds as Jocelyn's (Facade) friend Beth talks her bestie into a night out after having been a bit of a recluse since her previous relationship ended. Jocelyn's spirits have been down ever since and she'd taken a hit to her confidence as well.
Beth pretty much forces/tricks her into going out and they end up in a mansion in the countryside that is a scene of sex and debauchery -- Jocelyn gets inside with Beth and is immediately overtaken by the wanton activities in the mansion. at first an observer (using the name Facade), led by a man with a dark voice...she is a bit disturbed by all that is going on...and then becomes (very quickly) an interested party...and then...you'll need to read for yourself.

Ok I have to admit at first I was not sure what to think of this. I read it once then paused and had to read it again. Yes I read it twice in the same day. It's a really quick read. The beginning sites not give any hint as to what the middle and the end have in store.
I am not a girl who likes surprise parties but I don't know I there are parts of this surprise party that I'd be ok with.

This was originally written as a standalone, but the author says many readers wanted to know what happens next. I'm in agreement with those readers.
This is a gripping story of a girl who has been shut down by her boyfriend. She's a mere shell of what she used to be. When her boyfriend leaves her, she's heartbroken and has no idea of how to go forward, because she no longer knows herself. Her best friend comes to the rescue and introduces her to a world she never knew existed.
This is a quick read, and it's only the beginning! Or, if you're not into serials, you could just finish with this book, as the author originally intended. But I'll bet you will want to continue, just like me and many others.

This to me is a story of discovery. When a long relationship ends and you discover how much you have changed to please someone you thought loved you, you must take a journey of Discovery to find you. You might discovery you enjoy things you never would have thought you would. This is a short read but it is the first of the series. I will definitely get the next one I can't wait to see where her journey takes her and what she discovers about herself.

I didn't know what I was getting into with this story. I ended up really enjoying it. It is a Dark erotica for sure and a short story but if you enjoy those two things I highly recommend it. It has darkness, intrique and so many things that leave you curious to know what is next. It was an easy read and the characters were interesting.

Great, short, smutty read. The story's premise is erotic, and the author's imagination simply delectable.
