Darya Dontsova (Russian: Дарья Донцова) (before marriage known as Vasilyeva) is a Russian writer of detective novels, scriptwriter, TV presenter and member of the Union of Writers of Russia.

Venelased oskavad kirjutada. Eneseirooniline, mahlakas ja sealne elu on ikka uskumatu. Ja krimijuhtumeid on neil lihtne lahendada, sest venelane on külalislahke ja jutukas . Ning seksism, mis meil on juba kuidagi eilne päev on armsalt nostalgiline.
Ma ütleks, et see taust ja keskkond oli isegi põnevam kui lugu ise.
