Bumping Back: An Activists Guide to Getting There, Doing the Business and Getting Away with it

Rate this book
There are some things that go bump in the night. Make no mistake about that. And we are the ones who bump back.A new and long-overdue book of tactics for direct action. Includes information on how to approach a target and conduct surveillance without being seen yourself, how to approach and leave a target during an action and, if all goes wrong, how to escape. Along the way are top tips, essential skills, pointers toward extending your skills base, a bit of politics, and some really bad puns. This is not an urban guerrilla manual, but I believe that by adopting a more systematic approach you improve the way you go about the planning of actions; increase the overall efficiency of your actions by having a systematic method of planning and conducting them; increase the chances of pulling off a successful action; and, perhaps most importantly, lessen the chances of getting busted. from the introduction

Listen, I'm all for activists sharing knowledge, skills and generally improving our activity. But at a certain point, this just became scooby doo escapades imagining we're gonna need info on night vision goggles.
