Needed an easy airplane read and this fit the bill. I was mainly curious to see how a story about black vintners struggling with a start-up boutique in Woodinville would play out. Wine details were fast and loose (Jon and Hudson continually aim for big profits in the short term when most vintners will tell you they do it for the love of wine, not the money), but the focus of course was the romance between Hudson and Laila. Standard stuff!
A great twist, men usually think they are all of that and a bag of chips. To find one who thinks he not goood enough is astounding. My heart went out to both Laila a Hudson.
