When Buddhists think about Emotional Healing, an emotion is only a momentary affair, and that emotion cannot last. Therefore, people who suffer from mental health problems create their own worries, become fixated on them, and become attached to them, which causes them to suffer.
If you want to learn about mental health management, I recommend learning about Buddhist mindfulness.
