This is a large format paperback coffee table book, which is nice, but not what I was expecting when I bought it off the internet. It covers a huge timeline from the Triassic period, through present day tourism. Also, tribes who at one time lived there, and the few animal species who can hack it out there in the heat and dry. It’s a great place to visit. I was there in 2018!
