裏切りの刃

Just after she makes love to Brett, the first man she's ever fallen in love with, Tessa plummets from the heights of joy. “We have a warrant for your arrest,” the detectives tell her. These manga are so poorly written. It takes all the charm out of the story, because events happen too quickly. Since you don't get a backstory or build up in the relationships, it all feels shallow and melodramatic. Tessa wasn't a likable character, saying that she likes to charm everyone, get their secrets, get men to fall in love with her, and move on. I also don't understand the money angle - I don't remember Hilary giving Sammy money for the computer so that makes no sense.

If I were the FL, I would just leave him and disappear. He's so disappointing! I also really like the brandy splashing scene. Definitely what I imagined I want the FL do and it happened! Yeayyy! Also, already got the answer who is the culprit when that unrelated character came inside.
