Don't even bother.
First and foremost, you'll be reading in italics for almost the entire duration of the story. Second of all, there's this dumb sub-story that's been super awkwardly forced to encapsule the actual story (the diary). Almost as if the author needed to fill some sort of page quota, but instead of writing better story, they just decided to Not do that and make a worse story that "justifies" the fact that you are reading this diary, as if you needed one in the first place. Thirdly, what does the ghost do?? They're literally just there and are only brought up again once. They're not a
