s vypětím všech sil jsem to dočetla. ale to teda bylo. ne, vážně, tomu už se nedalo říkat ani popisnost - jak já trpěla u té spousty zbvytečných odstavců, která popisovala, jak je všechno strašně luxusní a zvláštní. jak já trpěla, když jeden ten cvok "zachraňoval" mladou valkýru, která mu o to vůbec nestála, protože ji nemohl nechat, aby si zničila život, ačkoliv ona byla docela šťastná. a pak se ještě divil, že ho nesnášela a že se z ní stala čarodějnice. no a nejujetější bylo, když Amisovi nebo Amilovi ležela na kolenou slečna a myslela si, že leží na soše, protože dotyčný byl ve stínu a měl na sobě bílej háv. pro to mě napadají tři vysvětlení - buď byla slečna na hlavu, nebo trpěla nějakou poruchou citlivosti kůže nebo neležela dotyčnému zrovna na kolenou. a chlap, který reaguje na vyznání lásky pláčem mě taky dostal. of course, všichni hlavní hrdinové museli být strašně krásní a dokonalí a trest jednoho spočíval hlavně v tom, že ho proměnili v ošklivého hnusného fujžebráka.
nicméně, pokud je člověk míň cynik, nevadí mu popisnost a má rád slash a romantiku (tu okázalou, vlastně nejokázalejší... ok, už mlčím), tak uznávám, že by se mu to mohlo líbit.

Nebaví. Věnovala jsem tomu asi šedesát stránek. Možná to jednou dočtu...

I read the old Czech edition when I was very young. I'm still in awe of how beautiful language can be when written with love.
