It was ok, it's a good general overview, and very good for its time I imagine but has since been superseded by newer works that are less reliant on the (heavily biased) literary sources, and utilise the archaeological sources better.

This roman empire is a fascinating topic and subject and farming is very important.
This is a comprehensive study of farming in Republican and imperial times.
