Yes! Energy- the Equation to Do Less, Make more written by Loral Langemeire-Bestselling author, speaker, and money expert. Loral is also the author of
The Millionaire Maker Series and Put More Cash in Your Pocket. She is the CEO and founder of Live Out Loud Inc. a multi-million dollar company.

Loral holds a B.A. in Business and Finance from the University of Nebraska and has worked with top names in the field such as Robert Kiyosaki and Bob Proctor. She has appeared on CNBC-TVs the Millionaire Inside, CNN and Fox News and host a regular weekly radio show on Hayhouse.com.

Yes! Energy is about her own personal methodology, developed as a means to help herself and others. It’s about tapping into higher vibrational frequencies which can assist in one’s own personal development.

The book talks about energy, commitment, certainty, faith and leadership. Her energy equation eludes to a promise of attaining success by simply following the principles stated which include;

• Willingness to change
• Connecting to a higher power
• The ability to dream bigger
• Sharing your talents and gifts
• A supportive, positive, motivating team
• Doing the right thing at the right time

Yes! Energy is a road map to get from where you are to where you want to be, it’s an energy equation that can work for anyone. The book talks about connecting to a positive life force, connecting with your core vibrations as a means of manifesting your personal desires.

In the book Loral mentions “The Thing” it’s reading between the words to understand that she is referring to the higher self. The book talks about awareness, taking responsibility and references looking to God and asking for clarity so as to live an inspired life.

Yes! Energy repeatedly talks about the importance of having a team, about strategy and support system. Instead of time management, Loral refers to it is as energy management. In the book we find a quote from the book Inspiration, written by Dr. Wayne Dyer as well as from The Power of Now, by Eckhart Tolle

“Positive energy and extreme optimism are faith based so the effect is calm, confident and certain.”
Eckhart Tolle, The Power of Now

Everything is Energy!

Loral shares some very personal stories about her own life and her struggles
As well as the importance of being aware of your personal energy and how the energy of others can affect you, negative energy can deplete your personal energy so it’s imperative to be mindful of how others energy impact us.

To be mindful of attitudes that is debilitating, emotions such as fear, hopelessness, pessimism, negativity, isolation. Use faith to stay in spirit, find time to meditate, pray and think.

Change The Conversation

The basic premise is that by taking a good hard look at your perceptions, you can then make the shift necessary to alter your belief system, and that starts by changing your conversation, what that inner voice keeps repeating inside your head which is essential for bringing change into anyone’s life.

Changing the conversation is another way of saying change the story your telling yourself the one that often repeats in your head over and over often without being consciously aware of the negative story we are repeating such as I can’t do it, I’m not smart enough, I never have enough money, I’ll never be a success.

The Ability To Be Clear

Loral emphasizes that these negative stories we repeat are part of our unconscious programing and the reasons many stay stuck in a less than desirable life pattern.

The book brings the reader to an awareness of their own personal power and how to harness it so as to live a prosperous life, to build confidence by sourcing from faith and turning to spirit, essentially the book offers specific steps towards changing the conversation of your life and moving forward with a new healthy thought pattern that serves us in all areas of life not just in making money but also to live our dreams, to feel empowered by faith and the knowing that we are each able to create wealth and abundance that sustains a happy and joyful life.

Loral gives illustrations within the book real life stories of how it’s possible to turn your life around by changing the conversation and being clear on taking action steps. The right steps at the right time. The book tells us that the path from where you are, to where you want to be, is all about discovering the right steps, and aligning them in proper sequence. It’s about uncovering ones skill set, your gifts and talents and surrounding yourself with positive up beat individuals that are like mind and can help you move forward.

Question Your Beliefs

Chapter 4 teaches us to ask for what we want, focus on the positive, don’t place attention on what you don’t want to show up in your life and start a new conversation, ask yourself “What are my beliefs about money?”

Be persistent and certain, Yes! Energy talks about everyone having the ability to create a better life for themselves and to do so one must be willing to change their view of the world and how you act! Loral travels the globe and says her mission in life is to teach, she feels this is her path, she has a gift she refers to as money telepathy and she shares her truth about financial freedom educating others.

The author brings up an interesting point she talks about being a critical thinker and to question the rules, the beliefs, and the thoughts that rise within your mind. She talks about breaking the rules and not conforming to everyone else’s ideas of what should be, the reader is challenged to take risks.

How Do You Measure Success?

Loral measures her success by her ability to be present and active in eight areas, they are;

Spirituality
Health
Career
Family
Fun/friends
Relationships
Money
Physical environment

The Key to Change is Action, specifically the kind of steps that can be taken daily, action steps that can propel you to your ultimate goal or dream. Loral says that first you do, then, you are! So by knowing where you are in your life right now and taking action steps that will take you to where you intend to be anyone can achieve and manifest the big dreams they have for themselves.

Yes! Energy is not your usual how to get rich quick type of book, it’s more about personal growth and actualization, it’s for those that are committed to making real changes in their lives and have the willingness to make any shifts in attitude and behavior necessary to attain and succeed with their set goals and dreams.

I didn’t know what to expect from the book at first, but because it had the word energy in the title it caught my attention, and as many of you who are familiar with energy work know, energy, is the missing link in goals and dreams that have not been achieved.

It’s clear that from the author’s perspective it is essential to become aware and fully committed to change if we are to turn whatever part of our life is not working around. I thought the book was well written, informative and gave clear instructions, a formula that anyone could easily follow and achieve success for themselves.

It is deeply rooted in faith and a belief system, not religion, but rather spirituality, sourcing from a higher part of us, the spirit within. I was able to resonate with the information within and as a Holistic Life Coach and energy practitioner I am completely open to the concepts that Yes! Energy has to share with the world.

Excellent book leaves the reader doing critical thinking about their own goals, dreams and aspirations!

Loral Langemeier is best known as a financial expert. She created her own multimillion-dollar company, Live Out Loud, Inc, and teaches others to create wealth through her books and workshops. In Yes! Energy: The Equation to Do Less, Make More , Langemeier focuses on the process of creating the energy and forward movement that allows her to accomplish so much without working harder or longer. She formats this process as an actual mathematical looking equation though there is actually no math involved. Langemeier admits that she and her friend used to call this energy "the gift" when they noticed people who just seemed to have the confidence to move forward with ease into any project. Now she claims that everyone can develop this "gift" which is simply a new way of generating energy and moving into a new conversation.

While the book says this Yes! Energy can be applied to all areas of life in order to Do Less and Have More, Langemeier's examples do tend to focus on wealth and business examples because that is her area of expertise. She frequently references being the CEO of your own life which does sound pretty appealing. At least I think it will sound appealing to most people until they realize it means actually taking total responsibility for their lives and their decisions instead of being able to make excuses and place blame for their circumstances on other people and events. Being the CEO of one's own life means having the drive to go after what you truly want in life instead of just being along for the ride. Langemeier gives you the choice to play big or play small with your life but she clearly believes big is the way to go if you want to have what you want out of life and enjoy the process of getting it.

Langemeier's energy equation results in Extreme Optimism and Energy which spills into all areas of life. Her process includes changing the conversation, faith, certainty, confidence, dreams, gifts, team, and sequencing. The book goes through the energy equation step by step with sections focusing on each of the aspects of the equation. The book is well organized and breaks down the equation into easily digestible sections. Langemeier provides specific examples in each section of how she has applied this aspect of the equation to her own life or instances when she didn't follow through and things got off track. I love that she included these 'negative' examples as well because it shows that there are road blocks along the way and that even someone using this process who seems to have it all together does hit snags along the way. The trick, as Langemeier shows, is to adjust and keep moving forward instead of letting these bumps derail the entire project.

The book is well formatted with good use of bold headers, text boxes, and lists. Each section ends with some thought exercises to help the reader process the information and see how it is relevant to their own life. Langemeier also provides ideas for next steps to take to move forward in creating forward movement in life.

Overall, Yes! Energy is an interesting look at how we can change our thinking and make better use of our skills to make a better life but I don't know that it is realistic to say that everyone can use this process to create a wealth building business. I think that takes an initial effort and drive that many people simply aren't willing to expend and many people would rather make excuses than be fully responsible for their own lives.

Loral Langemeier is a power house! If you aren't familiar with her books, I'd recommend you read them. She is a single mother who has successfully created dozens of businesses and taught many about increasing their incomes. She's a great role model for women who want to start their own businesses as well as women who are already in business. We have so few models of women who feel comfortable talking about money. Langemeier loves teaching people about finance and, in particular, helping anyone start their own business. She teaches what she has learned first-hand in her own life. I'd highly recommend any of her books.
Yes! Energy, however, is a bit different than her previous books. She quickly cuts to the chase about how to achieve your dreams and provides an equation for the "mind over matter" mentality. The basis of this equation is a formula that includes Faith, Confidence, and Certainty. She also goes into honoring one's gifts: She believes that each of us has a special talent (or many talents) that we need to take responsibility for and contribute to our communities. An entire chapter of the book is dedicated to this topic.
The final chapter is focused on Team and Sequencing, the latter a tool that incorporates a visioning process where one sets an intention for how they want an up-coming project or conversation to go. It includes a written exercise for where one is at the beginning of the project and where they want to be at the end. From there, a sequence of steps is laid out in the proper order to get from beginning to end.
Langemeier is an inspiration and uncovers new ways of living that leave the reader feeling that Yes! energy!

I loved this book. I not only benefited from the energy of its words, but found energy techniques within it that I use to this day and have never run across anywhere else. This is a spiritual book. It's also a practical, experiential, self-motivational-book. It gives you a new perspective on how to go about your life: by allowing the manifestation of yes to permeate you on many levels.

"Yes! Energy: The Equation to Do Less, Make More" by Loral Langemeier has some real gems of information, even though I didn't really care for the "equation" that Langemeier uses to organize her message. I can see how some might like this formula to help remember her energy message, but to me, it seemed forced and I just didn't care for this particular way to present her strategies on energy and abundance.

The basis of the book is on having extreme optimism and energy, and how you can manifest more optimism and energy in your life to help you be more happy and successful. To get this energy and optimism, Langemeir has a formula, or equation. And it is not that easy to remember, at least not for me, and that's why I didn't really care for this manner of presenting her message. (A very good message mind you.) The formula boils down to change the conversation, source from faith to build certainty with confidence, drive by dreams, add your own unique gifts, get the team in place, properly support everything by sequencing the right thing at the right time and as a result you'll have Extreme Optimism and Energy. Again, I like these concepts and the information shared, I just didn't care for this long equation and didn't find it easy to remember.

Also notice the word "faith" in the equation. This book does talk about faith as one of the elements at the core of extreme optimism and energy. If you share this belief, you will enjoy this book. If you don't like messages about faith, you probably won't enjoy parts of this book. I point that out because the topic sometimes polarizes some groups of people.

The book gets you to look at your values, your faith, and your life. It shares strategies and concepts that have helped the author lead a life of abundant energy and productivity. For some people, who connect with this message, the book just may motivate and inspire them to also increase the joy of living in their life and live with more excitement, purpose, and yes, energy.

Again, I really think there were some gems in this book, but I didn't really connect with the message as strongly as I'd have liked, and the equation and formula just didn't "work" for me. I think it is a good book, and worth reading, but it wasn't "great" or "outstanding" and one that I'd read over and work toward implementing the lessons, one by one, into my life. However, I do think many will want to do just that, and I hope they do, because it will undoubtedly help them.

Loved it!!! I'm giving this book 5 stars because of the message. I have always had these types of thoughts, but Loral has put them into action. A team, of course! To really have a great life you need to be part of a great team! I know that, but wow - does she put it into perspective.

So many times we keep replaying the same old loop, that doesn't get us where we want to be, expecting things to be different this time. This book contains the motivation, and the back bone of a solid plan to break out of mediocrity, and really start living out loud.

What stood out to me the most about this book is that its basically a pep talk. The exercises are designed to help you work with your values and beliefs, as well as connect with your spiritual values to use as a resource for your life. It's a good book for inspiration. I didn't find it as relevant to business practices as I'd have liked and the author didn't really make it clear how you could do more with less, but its still a useful book for getting some direction in your life.

Interesting thoughts, not always new, but presented in an original, personal and thought provoking way. Some of the exercises Loral suggests provoked me to think hard (in a very positive sense) and also created mind shifts.
