I can easily picture a future religion based on Rochelle Owens' poems. Her verse already conveys coded meta messages relayed down through the ages, each poem laid out on the page with spaces and gaps that suggest redactions or breaths or lost words sun-bleached into oblivion. She's channeling something cosmic (and comic) for the first half of this collection then ends with a series much more serious and personal. It's all beyond good.
