An absolutely fascinating story of one of the early pioneers of flight. Richard Pearce's story is both inspiring and tragic. His place in New Zealand and aviation history should be better known.
There is a lot of technical detail in the book which takes a bit of wading through but it is well worth doing so for a five star story.
