One cannot own too many books on knots. :-)
As you can see from my knots shelf, I own a few. This book unlike the others is portable. It is small but still contains a lot of very good information and illustrations.

Like most of these books, it is organized by type. The trick is to know when to use these types in the field. This field could use a book that had examples that were domain specific. You can get them for boating and fishing but what about everyday stuff like holding together all the cardboard recycling, or using it to carry something that is an awkward shape. I'm still in search of such a book.

This book is what it claims to be: a pocket guide. I don't have a pocket that big but it is the smallest of its kind.
