Finding Hope When Life's Not Fair chronicles Lee Ezell's own journey of hope and courage as she struggled with her faith during her darkest days. Offering no easy answers but plenty of hard-won wisdom, she writes honestly about how deep pain can run--and offers a compelling argument that God's love runs deeper still. Whatever their circumstances, readers will find their faith buoyed as this book affirms the reality of the Lord's grace awaiting them in their toughest times.
Lee Ezell seems like one of the nicest ladies there is in this world. She is very encouraging and uplifting.
This book sadly did not answer a lot of questions as to why people hurt. But just like Lee said, at times the answers to questions like those are not for us to know at this time.
I appreciated her experiences and her ability to relate to so many people out there that are hurting. I don't understand why this little book has not been read by more people. It is a gem.
I absolutely LOVE this book. It has been so helpful and comforting to read going through my chronic long-term illness. I plan on keeping this by my bedside at all times. It has such GOOD messages in it about why we suffer and why we have to go through what we go through.
This is a great book! I found it a great comfort, starting to read it three days after my wife had died of cancer. I appreciate Lee Ezell's honesty about her feelings.
This is a memorable quote from her book: "Peace is not the absence of conflict, but the presence of God in the middle of conflict" (page 200).
I read this book in the plane on my way to a short escapade; when I was feeling so disappointed with the people around me (the negative minded) back home. It helps to calm me down. A great read.
