This book has put words to my feeling of a quarterlife crisis. In college we are able to project the vision of who we want to become in the world. During the four years, we develop an identity with the confidence and capabilities to handle most situations within the ISOLATED environment we are in. Theres no class that teaches us to balance self efficacy and self respect to build our self esteem.

Self-efficacy: confidence you have in your capacity to be effective & successful in the various areas of your life
Self-respect: seeing yourself as worthy of living life for your own sake, & feeling that you have the right to be successful & happy

There is a wealth of useful wisdom here. It is like a fountain of clean water. However, I have three horses living in my own house that I can not make drink from it... not even crack it open to take a sip. Whoa! I have three fountains here because I bought three copies! So I am taking some of the advice and trying to model it myself (said the little red hen). Determining what is "good enough," and not insisting on perfection, and I am a HAPPY WOMAN. I think that I will go paint in my studio now.

One of the best books I ever read...highly recommended to anybody who has just graduated college, working/studying as a post-grad or someone who is about to graduate. Deals with a lot of the unique issues that our generation is facing in an increasingly globalized world.
