Ludwig Von Pastor was a 19th century German historian who wrote a 40 volume series on the history of the papacy from the 1300s through the 1700s. This volume covers the papacy of Innocent X. There is some interesting material on Jansenism and the Treaty of Westphalia, but be forewarned it is a pretty dry read.
