I did almost all the paintings in this book over the summer. It was a great way for me to feel successful in creating good watercolor paintings without much experience. The tutorials are excellent.

Like all DK books this one is full of colorful pictures and covers all the basics to get one started with watercolor paints.

I though the examples were a little advanced for beginners.
