“we can love even as He loved, because we have the same kind of love in us that He had in Him!”
“Natural human love is selfish. It is concerned about me, what is mine, what I can have, and what I have to put up with. Divine love is unselfish. It is not concerned with how I can use you and what I can get from you. It is concerned with what I can give.”
“God's love endures long and is patient and kind.”
“The "love thermometer" or "love gauge" is found in this fifth verse: "Love... is not touchy or fretful or resentful; it takes no account of the evil done to it—pays no attention to a suffered wrong." It's easy to find out whether or not we're walking in love. Just gauge yourself by what it says here about love. If you take account of the evil done to you, you're not walking in love. As long as you walk in love and stay full of the Holy Spirit, you won't take account of the evil done to you.”
“Some people believe that everybody's out to get them, but love believes the best of every person. It's not God's love that wants to believe the worst about people...”
I'd spend my life loving because I can. Because the love of God has been shared abroad in my heart causing me to be able to Love anyone. Even people I assumed I hate!
God loved me whilst I was yet a sinner. And he instructed that I love one another. I'm saved so therefore I love. I love!
I yield to the vine- knowing I'd produce the fruit-Love as the branch! Hallelujah
The HOLY SPIRIT enables Bro. Hagin to bring forth simple things to help us understand Spiritual Truths. Knowledge is Powerful when appropriately applied. It is a short read but I feel encouraged and strengthened . You will also. Enjoy!
This is a very good book describing true love and it's origins. It is taken from a biblical view explaining that love comes from GOD himself, especially in the example of His gift of the Son Jesus. Love should not be a selfish thing but displayed to all. Also the worldly definition of love centers around self where true love concentrates on others. I found this to be a quick and enjoyable read with many lessons. I hope you find it to be uplifting as well!
The power of Love in the life of a believer is infinite, love is the master key to walking in the supernatural, walking in love brings us into God's realm of possibilities, which is endless.
