My life is falling apart around me, and the only person I can call for help is the bane of my existence. Owen Taylor is too hot for his own good, and I’ve crushed on him most of my adult life … until he opens his mouth. All he does is argue with me, which is why I’ve never attempted to act on this little crush.
Until one argument leads to him shutting me up with his mouth, and suddenly, he’s all I can think about. He’s demanding that I open up to him and let him help me. But I’ve always been an independent woman, and I don’t want my friends, Owen included, to know how bad my life has gotten. Owen won’t take no for an answer when he realizes I’m about to be homeless, setting me up in his guest room. He promises there won’t be awkwardness or complications.
But there’s already a complication that neither of us are prepared for. A life-changing complication that forces us to own up to our feelings for each other. Because nine months can go by in the blink of an eye.
Forever Ours is a small-town contemporary romance. It is book three of the Forever Series but can be read as a standalone. It features enemies-to-lovers, a surprise pregnancy, and a guaranteed Happily Ever After. Forever Yours features sexually explicit material, profanity, and some content that may be triggering. This book is intended for readers 18+.
I really enjoyed this book but the drama was a doozy!! So much went on and the drama between the friends was unexpected!! I loved the pregnancy aspect of this book and it helped me connect to our mains better!! The spice was also top notch and perfect!
Owen and Harper are meant to be. Everything started as enemies, both hating each other. But as they said the line between hate and love is really thin. Then everything changes and being lovers is all they both wanted from the other but never really acted on it so a love/hate relationship is all they have. It’s so perfect seeing Owen falling hard and falling first, I loved it so much. Harper is everything he needs and never knew he needed. She his spit fire, his everything. They endure so many problems and every one of them helps them be stronger together. Their HEA is simply fantastic. I’m loving this series so much. Can’t wait for the next book.
Just like the first two books in the series I absolutely loved this story. Loved the characters and their development and I absolutely love the writing style. Don't miss out!
This book is ROUGH. Like the others in the series, if there is a chance to create drama, it's there. Every where you look drama drama drama. Our couple is super toxic to each other. They are only ever having sex or screaming at each other or having bits of conversation summarized and capped by more sex. There is even huge drama in the friend group. Its way out of left field and makes no sense. I had 1 second of respect for Harper for sticking up for herself, but it didn't last long and all is cutely forgiven. Every pregnant woman is described as a psycho with only the ability to be irrational. I was over this book at 70% and only skimmed to finish.
This book was like a rant/run on sentence. The grammar was bad and it would switch from one thing to another.
Owen getting taken outside and gettting beat up by a stranger. Then the bartender stepping in. So random.
Owen has a migraine, and a few hours later he wakes up still feeling horrible. Then they have a conversation and he decides to leave for a week mid migraine episode. What?!
What Liam said about Harper and everyone just forgives him so easily. Hell nahhh we would not be friends anymore. “I’m going to therapy and working thru it.” Sorry excuse and what does harpers and owens relationship even have to do with him when he’s married to liv.
The phrases "I'm a heterosexual man who likes to dress nice" and "man hugs" are used in this book. I should probably have taken that as a sign stopped at that point.
The woman is not at all empowered in this book. Her friends kind of suck, her man kind of sucks and she has very little personality tbh. The friends are kind of toxic and horrible....and then magically forgiven? Honestly, this one just really fell flat. And I have been waiting to read it for a while.
Like I said in the headlines, this was a fun but infuriating read 😂 I loved Harper and Owen together and have been waiting for their story since the beginning of this series but goddamn they made me work for it!
I loved seeing Owen go from a single, self-proclaimed playboy to absolutely smitten, head-over-heels in love with Harper. The infuriating part comes from Harper taking her sweet time realising it. Eventually though they do come together and it all works out in the sweetest way!
I’m not sure when it switched but I used to hate the surprise pregnancy trope and now I love it! I enjoyed seeing Owen become a proud papa and found the exaggerated hormonal scenes with Harper to be hilarious.
All in all, this might actually be my favourite in the whole series! I would’ve expected it to be Liv and Liam but there was just something about Harper and Owen’s story and eventual HEA that won me over ❤️
Let’s start this off by saying SURPRISE PREGNANCY! By far one of my favorite book-tropes, and in this case it was pulled off so well!
Harper and Owen have known each other for so long but anytime they are together it’s like pulling teeth, argument after argument, until one day Owen shuts her up with a kiss! This leads to some bumpy months of tension, hot moments, and secrets.
I loved how their relationship developed, Owen really decided enough was enough and Harper(along with their little bean) was all he needed. Harper was nervous about Owen but watching her come to terms with things really made me enjoy this story even more.
I was NOT ready for the conflict though. It made my heart hurt. I was expecting some craziness like the last two books but no!
I can not wait until we get Monica and Gabriel’s story!
Owen and Harper, two opposite personalities coming together in the amazingly written book by Jennifer. If you haven’t read her first two those are a must read. This enemies to lover book is amazing. When they say opposites attracts they were speaking about Owen and Harper. You have Harper who is the complete opposite of Owen, she isn’t afraid to say what’s on her mind nor is she willing to let people do things for her just because she pushes Owen to confront his feels that he would never had the guts to do on his own. Owen is the man with a plan but little did he know that plans are always altered to but what people need the most. This book is a ten out of ten and I truly highly recommend. Jennifer did it again in making me cry and she writes beautifully.
I have been waiting for this story!! We got little glimpses of something going on between Harper and Owen in the first two books and I was so excited to find out what it was.
I loved Owen! He came off as the cocky playboy lawyer….. which he was, until he got a taste of Harper. He fought it, he didn’t want a serious relationship it just wasn’t for him. Until he realized he wanted more and set out to get it. I can’t say enough how much I just loved him…. He was so much more than I expected.
These two have to really dig deep to get through there past hurts and hang ups to finally get to there HEA but it was well worth it in the end.
Oh these two!! Their snark and comebacks are so well written, you just know that these enemies are going to find their way to each other! Owen and Harper are both attracted to each other but also love to irritate each other. They get under each other's skin so easily and are easily provoked by the other when they normally would not be upset. When Harper is unable to stay in her apartment, Owen demands that she stay with him and won't give her another choice. When these two act on the attraction between them, whew! I needed a drink! And when there's a little complication between them, will they be able to cement their connection into something lasting?
4 stars 3 steamy kisses book #3 in the Forever series
surprise pregnancy, enemies to lovers, secretly dating, reformed playboy, lawyer hero, forced proximity, love/hate relationship, miscommunication, he falls first
I really enjoyed the book but hated that they acted so childlike at times but I know I know its part of the drama to lead to that HEA that is if they can even settle their feelings for each other or co-parent before their baby is out.
This is the third book in the forever series, Harper and Owen’s story. I would almost say it’s enemies to lovers trope but they are friends but just push each others buttons ALL the time. The reason you find out what a because they secretly want each other and it a defense mechanism. They get their happily ever after but not after you read A LOT of near misses. This group of friends have AwFUL luck but damn do they have good sex scenes in ALL the books! This book did not disappoint.
I wasn't sure what to expect when I started reading this book. But oh was it so worth it! The plot was amazing, the execution was just as amazing! It had the perfect amount of angst, humor, romance and smut! I absolutely loved this book! The chemistry was off the charts! The humor was beautifully written! This book was so well written and just an absolute best book. It's a definite recommend and is worth the hype.
I wanted to read Owen and Harper from the moment we met them in Forever Sunshine and they did not disappoint!! Their fire and ice emotions were beautifully written and Owen had me swooning! I love Harper's blunt personality and the fact that they both say what they need to say!!! It was an emotional ride with a beautiful ending!!!!
took me a lot longer to read this one. still enjoyed it but not as much as the first one. just personal opinion I don’t like the ‘second chance, known each other for 20 years finally giving it a chance’ story line. accidental pregnancy was interesting tho. anyway excited for Monica’s story !
I love Owen and Harper’s story. Their personalities are so fun and I love that Owen is protective of Harper from the beginning. I’m so glad they both got their happily ever after.
Forever Ours just hit me in such an amazing way. I laughed out loud (my husband looked at me like I was crazy at least one of the times lol) and I cried, like full out ugly cried. But it was SO FREAKING GOOD!!!! Pick up your copy of this book ASAP!!!
sorry but there is NO way in hell i’d ever talk to my “friend” again if he called me “easy pussy”. i literally could not care less why he did that, but the fmc and mmc should have left those losers in the dust.
furthermore, they had no real chemistry and were so toxic and sad.
Terrible, a complete rollercoaster…hated the fmc and the way the whole book was written in general. It’s giving all over the place….and the mmc is 39 acting like a child and can’t communicate…never again!
I liked the book a lot. The banter and the spice were amazing.
However, I felt like a specific moment in the book was not necessary. It was a drama moment that pulled me back from the story a bit because to me, it didn't need to happen.
Apart from that the story was great and I enjoyed it.
This book was absolutely amazing, I laughed, I cried, I couldn't put it down. Jennifer does it once again with an amazing small town story. Definitely a must read.
Harper and Owen have a slightly argumentative type of relationship until the kiss. Then it's lots of bumps and curves before they get to their HEA. Thoroughly enjoyed this addition to the series.
What a fun read! Harper and Owen are endgame, even if Harper made me want to murder her a couple times throughout. Definitely the palette cleanser I needed!
