Dirty Laundry (Liz Osborne)
Mystery. Robyn Kelly is a patient manager at Madrona Bay Hospital. She was called to resolve an issue with an obnoxious, disruptive patient. When she goes to confront him she finds him dead. She also tries to help a homeless patient, with mental illness and a mysterious past.

Her boyfriend , a police officer is hospitalized with a back injury and her son wants to go overseas, which is cause for concern for Robyn. As she juggles her personal life, she also investigates the dead of this patient, she will not stop until she finds the answers she is looking for.

Fast paced mystery with interesting sub-plots. I will definitely read more from ms. Osbourne.

This book was really very interesting. I had no clue "who done it" til the very end. The leads were well written as was the plot. LO did a great job.

Disappointing! There really wasn’t much to like about this book. I didn’t read the one prior to this and now I won’t bother. From plot to characters to narrator it was a solid 2* for me. Maybe 2 1/2* as I did finish it.

A fast paced read with an interesting look at hospital admin behind the scenes. I'll be giving my copy to my sister-in-law who was a nurse for years.

Quick, easy read. Just didn’t feel particularly attached to any of the characters and didn’t really like the racist/classist dialogue the author gave William but story flowed well.

Loving adventure Robyn Kelly finds herself neck deep in the death of a hospital guest at her place of employment. Robyn is never in want for something to do and her boss seems bound to pile her 'To Do' basket to overflowing. As she madly but expertly goes about her and her boss's work she mindfully works the case of the mysterious death of the man who flashed all the nurses and staff. All the while she keeps tabs on a lost and lonely homeless man that wonders into her office and don't forget her son who is about to sign up for and pay out of pocket to 'help' those in need in Africa!

This fast cozy read made me think, but in the end I was pretty sure I knew who done it and I was on the right track but had a few missing pieces. I missed the first Robyn Kelly mystery, but I enjoyed this one and will search out more.

Robyn Kelly is having a very bad day. She works as a patient relations manager in a Washington state hospital. She's the one people call when there's a complaint either by the patients or the nurses about a patient. In this case, there's an obnoxious young man who apparently gets off on flashing all the nurses by dropping his sheet. When she finally gets around to dealing with him, it's too late because someone has strangled him and left a knot of tubing around his neck.

I thought Robyn was fine as an amateur sleuth, but she's got a lot on her plate. The story itself seems far fetched and there's a lot of repetition of the details.

It was an okay read if you're just interested in the characters, but the mystery and the conclusion just didn't make a lot of sense.

Strange things are happening at the Madrona Bay Hospital, and Robyn Kelly is in the midst of them. A patient has been accused of flashing the nurses, but when Robyn finally checks on him, she finds him dead, murdered — and she becomes a suspect. So while juggling all the extra work the administrator dumps on her, along with problems at home, Robyn surreptitiously investigates, with the help of a detective currently a patient in the hospital. Excellent mystery, with some surprising twists. I'm very sorry the series has apparently come to an end with only two books.

What would you do if your hell-in-a-handbasket day at work included murder? When the going gets tough, the tough turn pro. That's what our fearless protagonist Robyn does, though she protests too much, and I enjoyed her thought process and navigation through the hospital system to solve a murder and conspiracy. This was a quick read, I learned new things about hospital administration and I look forward to more by this author. Good job!

I am pretty sure there were editing mistakes in this book. Also, the plot was sort of dumb, and I guess I just couldn't relate to the "sleuth" in this book. I sort of feel like I just got done reading an "Encyclopedia Brown" book for adults.

I received this book as a gag gift for Christmas due to the title, which is the same as my own book, Dirty Laundry. This author's story is set in a hospital which is also my line of work. She crafts a pleasant mystery with the hint of a romance and a murder. Enjoyable read.

A great book. I can't think of a thing that the Chanticleer Review didn't already say. It was a fun read, one that kept me interested from page one to the last page.

Quick read. The book is kind of like an episode of the old TV show ER or scrubs with murder mystery involved. Somewhat like a Sue Grafton book.
