this is a reference book for banking services in 1980s.

the role of central banks in banking system, how to understand a bank's status looking at its balance sheet, the function/role of money, the methods of domestic and international payments are some issues that are covered in the book.

of course some parts of it are irrelevant today, but overall it's a good source to have an idea about the banking practices of the past and today.
