For readers who aren't at the level of chapter books, this is a great series of books. The Ogs are a family of cavepeople who find themselves marooned from town after a earthquake hits the area. Each family member tries to think of a way to get over a new crevasse that keeps them from reaching town. It's not until Grandpa Og notices a passing flying dinosaur does he realize what they need. Each page is fully illustrated with graphic novelties that will keep the reader entertained. As a bonus, each page has a question for the reader so they can look at the illustration and try to find the answer. A great series for beginner readers!
