When the Earth was created, the God and Goddess left gifts behind for the creatures to find - gifts that granted great powers and were meant to test the living. The gifts were found by man, thus, some men became more than human. There are monsters and their are protectors. Myths and legends are more than just bedtime stories - they are history, recorded events sometimes skewed by years of knowledge. War looms, mankind caught in the middle of a centuries-old battle between the protectors and the monsters. The protectors, the Guardians, must rely upon their chosen one, even though he is unaware of his destiny.
