What happens when your building explodes and you suddenly find yourself homeless and sleeping on your parents couch? You find a new place and a new roommate. For artist Marie Carter, this has become her reality.
After her building goes kablooey thanks to a long-neglected gas leak, she suddenly finds herself without a roof over her head. When the chance to move into a much better place comes along, one that also comes with a long-desired art studio, she doesn't just jump. She leaps.
Thom Harper is at the precipice of having it all. When he agrees to let his brother's fiancée's friend move in with him, he suddenly finds himself in jeopardy of losing everything he's worked for.
Not only is his new, ultra-tempting roomie smokin' hot, but she's also the daughter of the man who, with one snap of his fingers, could make it all go away. That doesn't stop him when forbidden thoughts turn into vivid fantasies and those fantasies lead to steamy, passionate nights filled with forbidden touches and breathy moans.
Find out how Thom and Marie take their friendship to the next sexy step in Down For the Count, a friends-to-lovers, close proximity standalone.
