I’ve always admired Diane and her passion for the gorillas. The perpetuating extinction of species we’ve yet to learn much from has been a problem for a while and now in 2020 I felt more inspired than ever to read a story of a conservationist, who has dedicated her life to the gorillas and their wild ecosystem. I would love to travel over to Uganda and volunteer as a conservationist myself next year. Diane will always be my hero - one of a kind, unafraid of the unconventional and out of the ordinary approach to life, taking the risk of learning the ropes of living in the wild to protect these rare cohabitants we share our planet with. We never know how long these majestic creatures will be around for with all the greediness and profit hunger of the humans and frankly, sometimes I feel like I’d rather be around them for a while rather than listening to politics, blame games of our leaders and pandemic craziness. 🦍🦍🦍
