Lindy Blue is a fourth grader who is a popular newscaster in the neighborhood. Her headlines are the most exciting gossip that goes on in school. Lindy comes to her hardest case yet, when she discovers a missing ice cream scoop. This book is a great mystery story that would have children eager to read more. Its more acceptable for third and fourth grade kids, as it may be too advance for children younger than nine, depending on reading level. Like all great mystery books the problem is solved at the end.

This is a beginning chapter book with 74 pages of large font, and black and white drawings every three pages. The mystery could be more interesting, although Lindy is a fun main character.
