James Davies is an internationally renowned osteopath, performance coach and recovery specialist. I really enjoyed James Davies perspectives on our bodies and health. He is a rock star osteopath that was on a journey to run in the Olympics for the UK until he blew out his legs. If he had gotten good advice on prevention or treatment he might have made it. Losing that dream inspired him to help others like he hadn't.
I think it would make a great reference book on your shelf to help you work with and think differently about the aches and pains in your body. He has chapters for every part from head to toes that get injured or sore. I found it very useful in that way. I also loved how he helps you think through your pain or injury and how to assess what level of care it might need. And he has chapters connecting stress and anxiety to the body, which is the forgotten disease in many cases.
Finally, he has a whole series of exercises that he shares for how to keep your body pain free with simple stretches in the morning, while sitting, before driving, standing and before bed. I drew myself a fun exercise guide based on his recommendations.
Highly recommended for anyone telling themselves the story that their body is falling apart or will as they get older, anyone that has recurring body pain or injuries, or exercise overdoing it junkies. Worth a read and worth having on your shelf.

Wasn't quite as I expected. Did cover a lot of information but not much on what i wanted specifically. A good overall read for those who want to have a general overview of their body.
