I remember reading this when I was quite young - I think around 9 years old. Saw every SpongeBob episode there was to watch back in the day. Wonder what the show is like now..

Would you enjoy reading it again:
Possibly. This book is five different SpongeBob episodes put into writing. The book was very funny (as SpongeBob normally is) and very enjoyable, but the author missed a few jokes that are in the episode that I would have liked to have read. The writing style was also pretty bad and that made me want to just watch the actual show instead of reading the book, but the book was still able to hold your attention and it was enjoyable to read. Overall, it might be better to watch the episode rather than read it but it was still enjoyable to read - 4

Did you enjoy the plot:
Plot was amazing/ unique. These were stories from the show itself so they weren't technically unique since they were already on TV but overlooking that, the plots themselves were clever, funny, unique and interesting. The characters are wonderfully unique, intelligent in their own right and engaging - 5

Did you enjoy the writing style:
It was okay. There wasn't anything impressive about this writing style and it could have been altered to be more action packed and have a more animated and imaginative feel to it. It felt like it was just reiterating the story rather than engagingly involving the reader in the story: in other words, it felt like the author was just saying what had happened (like a news report) rather than leaving a few details up to the readers imagination and letting them figure out a few things on their own. I enjoyed the photos within the book because there weren't too many where it felt like a picture book but there was enough where it felt like an aid to help guide your imagination - 3

Good ending?
Amazing. The endings to all the stories were well deserved and satisfying. The stories taught the reader a lesson without being overbearing about it - 5

Format: physical book (paperback)
Average rating: 4.25 stars. Round up: 5 stars.

So, we started reading this to our daughter. Then we forgot about it. Then we started reading it again. And we finally finished it. It was a fun, goofy, Spongebob story.

Sponge Bob Square Pants Deep Sea tales is a book that the author wrote. Basically describing all the espisodes from season 6, in words. The stories in this book contain lingering endings. The author leaves and empty space at the end not allowing the reader to find out what happended to spongbob or any of the other characters. In my opinion this book should be read to young toddlers.

This book has six tales about Spongebob Squarepants and friends. The stories are based on episodes from the show. But each story seems to differ from its tv counterpart. It's usually only a little bit, like the characters saying something slightly different than the episode the story was based on. It was still interesting to see there were little changes.

Funny book. I enjoyed it.
