This CD covers complete design examples, more details on component unloaded Q and how to tune high-order circuits. A distributed 2.2 GHz combline band-pass filter and an L-C IF band-pass filter are designed from start to finish including a comparison to measured data. Those who have tuned multiple-section amplifiers, matching networks, filters and other circuits appreciate the difficulty. The course includes a discussion of the Dishal tuning technique, which reduces tuning difficulty.
