In this race against time, can Kyla and Marlowe defeat the enemy and save the people they love most in the world?
Better than the previous one but I think the series lost a little bit of my interest right after book 2. There were some really good moments but it wasn’t that captivating to me…
This last book in the series was the most intense and thrilling of them all. Your are put through the emotional ringer throughout. But having said that, I wouldn’t have missed it for the world. I was glued to every word, every page. But it’s a tale not to be rushed as you want to take all the details and action in. No spoilers but as I was enjoying the tumultuous journey of the characters I couldn’t see the solution, until it happened. A masterpiece of storytelling . I hope Rachael will continue in her craft as it is a unique talent. One of the best fantasy series I have read(and I’ve read a lot). 100% recommended from me.
4.5 ⭐️ The trauma! The emotional damage and trauma wrought by the final instalment of the God Sage saga is a very real thing. Whatever you do, DO NOT PICK A FAVOURITE CHARACTER, just cross your fingers, and hope for the best. The angst over whether they will survive this action-packed slaughter fest will leave you reeling ..... think George R.R Martin in terms of unaliving the characters you like.
Overall, I think this was a brilliant end to the series and I can't wait to read more from this author.
⚠️ This is a YA fantasy but do note that it does deal with some dark themes, gore, and death.
The Chronicles of the God Sage is one of my favorite book series of 2022! Starting with Forbidden Healing, each book in this series just got better and better as it went along. This series does not have spice but it does have enemies to lovers, plenty of action, suspense, mystery and a very unique magic system, like nothing I've ever read before. I enjoyed this series so much and look forward to reading this authors future works. 5 stars all the way!!
The most action packed and magic filled entry of The Chronicles of The God-Sage, ventures into a ruthless conclusion. The secrets of The Dream Key are finally revealed and the threads connecting all of the characters are pulled together tightly. The tense political situations finally erupt, while plague and corrupt political leaders ravage the land.
Heart wrenching moments, savage action sequences, even more magic and fantasy than before all left me with bated breath to get to the next chapter!
The final installment of the Chronicles of the God-Sage was a masterful end to the tale started three books ago. The pacing was excellent, and the book was packed with the action that had been building up to the climax in of the whole tale. I was teary eyed by the last page, touched by the bittersweet ending of the stories of so many beloved characters. If you haven’t yet, please give this series a chance- Watson is a true credit to fantasy authors everywhere!
Rachael wraps up the God-Sage saga beautifully in this final book of the series. A beautifully woven tale filled with love, anguish, heartbreak, sorrow, joy, and triumph. Highly recommend this series. Normally I shy away from stories that have a focus on religion, even fictitious religion, but this story is compelling and the characters steadfast and true.
I'm finding it difficult to put into words just how much I enjoyed this whole series. The finale absolutely did not disappoint.
Sometimes with dual perspectives you end up favouring one characters chapters over another's, that was not the case with this series or this book at all! Both perspectives had me desperately wanting more.
Can't wait to see what comes next from this author 😍
Rachael gives a most satisfactory conclusion to this series. The slow burn romance doesn't distract from the central plot, and there are enough twists and turns to keep your attention. Final Sacrifice
Honestly I don't know if I liked it or not. It wasn't bad, but it wasnt as great as the other 3. This end felt rushed, I could've read 200 pages more !! Also, why so many violence at the end ? I didn't like that, even tho I understand the Nilari are pissed. Anyway, overall I loved this series, and that's what counts :)
This was such an interesting conclusion to the series. The story takes some unexpected turns and kept me interested throughout. The characters and different situations are also well narrated. I received a free copy of the book and this is my voluntary and honest review.
Rachael definitely knows how to make pull at your emotions, this book got me good. I was gripped! It didn't take me long to finish as I couldn't put it down. I couldn't even guess how it was going to end. Loved it!
With non-stop action, this was a great conclusion to the series. I've thoroughly enjoyed all four books, and look forward to reading more by this author. Highly recommend!
Satisfying conclusion to a series that brought me a lot of fun. Especially the characters and their journeys make this book and the others in the series very entertaining.
