About the Bryan Chapell, Ph.D. is Senior Pastor of the historic Grace Presbyterian Church in Peoria, IL and President Emeritus of Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri. He is also the Founder and Chairman of Unlimited Grace, a media teaching ministry. Dr. Chapell is an internationally renowned preacher, teacher, and speaker, and the author of many books, including Each for the Other, Holiness by Grace, Praying Backwards, Unlimited Grace, The Gospel According to Daniel, The Hardest Sermons You’ll Ever Have to Preach, and Christ-Centered Preaching, a preaching textbook now in multiple editions and many languages that has established him as one of this generation’s foremost teachers of homiletics. Dr. Chapell is passionate about sharing the truth of God's grace with others, since it provides the freedom and fuel for transformed lives of joy and peace. He and his wife, Kathy, have four adult children, a growing number of grandchildren, and lives rich with friends, fishing and faith.

Bryan Chapell is the president of Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri, the denominational seminary of the Presbyterian Church in America. He began teaching at Covenant in 1984 after ten years in pastoral ministry. Chapell has a BSJ from Northwestern University, an MDiv from Covenant Theological Seminary, and a PhD in speech communication from Southern Illinois University Carbondale.

Before becoming president in 1994, he served for six years as vice president for academics and dean of faculty. He is a speaker in churches and conferences around the country, preaching and lecturing on topics including grace, marriage, and journalism. Chapell's online broadcast ministry, Living Christ 360, contains additional resources in his areas of expertise.

A pastoral and compassionate exhortation on a passage deep in theology. The words are easy to follow and the illustrations effective. I am sure this will be listed as a good read in my list.

"There is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ." This book really helps a person to understand that.
