This was an exciting and suspenseful story that brings together Courtney and Jack. Courtney, on the run from a dangerous ex and Jack the militiaman bear shifter that finds her broken down on the edge of the road. These two had fab chemistry the moment their eyes met and it led them to a quick paced steamy romance. However, both had secrets and danger was inbound. It was a fun juxtaposition to have so much passion running between them while danger and drama was all around. I really enjoyed how this one unfolded and look forward to what's next by this author :D

I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.
In this book we meet Courtney & Jack. Jack needs to find a mate in the next month or he will need to step down as the alpha. When he sees Courtney in her car his bear just knows that it has found its mate. Courtney is on the run and knows she can't got to the cops. Reason being the person she is running from is in law enforcement. Can these two find a HEA or will others make sure that will never happen?
Another amazing story by this author. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

I’ve read many of the authors books but this book just doesn’t work for me. The MMC is okay, he’s a likable guy. Nothing to swoon over except he is described as a big man and is the alpha of his pack.
I am not sure whether to like the FMC or not. She appears to be brave and fearful at the same time. She appears as a weak FMC but there are times where she’s strong. I liked the her at the end though.

A fated mate story that does have the instant connection. Courtney is a scared young woman. Scared enough to drive in the snow with no destination. But fate seems to guide her. Jack is a bear shifter and is superior be the next alpha. They will face danger in more than one way. Can fate be enough to keep them together?

Very enjoyable and entertaining novella. Plenty of intrigue, suspense, action, and of course steamy romance to keep you hooked from beginning to end making it a helluva of read. Fate is a strange thing, I have run away, now in a blizzard and my car has broken down, I am scared and need to put great distance between me and my Ex. Then I get a tap in the window of my car, talk about heart raising, that’s what is going on now. Great story, 18 chapters and never a backwards step.

Courtney's background is highly suspicious and she is obviously holding on secrets. Jack recognized her as his mate but proceeds cautiously as he has his own secrets to protect.

I have read many books in this genre and many of this author's books. She writes a good book with a good storyline and not alot of grammatical or spelling errors to distract the reader.
