Manitou Murder

The murders of a prominent family on Mantou Island in the city of White Bear Lake, Minnesota, and the abduction of the daughter, sends a shudder through the local community and leaves the police grasping at several leads. An itinerant black man's body is found floating nearby in White Bear Lake with a diagram of the murdered family's home. Is this a burglary gone tragically wrong? Why were the parents murdered, the daughter abducted, and the black man killed? Once again Detective Sergeant Richard Lanslow must exert his best investigative skills in tracking down the perpetrators. The case grows cold until a bizarre incident puts Lanslow hot on the trail once again.
