A glimpse into the personal world of Clan Li's emperor.
Video blogging can be a troublesome and often dangerous as the strangely brave and/or stupid man (whom I forgot his name if they mentioned one and can't seem to find it) ends up at a dance party with a couple of vampires wanting to have a little fun with their new human prey. However no matter how often he is potentially in danger all he cares for is the audience of his live blog as he continues to record indiscriminately even as the bund has begun to get more dangerous by the day now that their leader is elsewhere.
Speaking of their leader, Mina is deep in Clan Li territory having escaped after being captured and although she can have an emergency evac called it turns out Clan Li is further along in their plans resulting in the small group of vampires and werewolves in the area to take action including trying to free Minmei from Clan Li's grasp.
In the mean time Minmei being a princess of Clan Li herself learns some of the horrors of Clan Li and ultimately what fate the matriarch of the clan has for her. She will need all the luck and assistance she can get to prevent said plans from taking place but in the meantime she has to play along and maybe learn more about Li at the same time. Hopefully it will not be too late before she can be rescued.

The artwork in this manga series is still stellar. The story takes a bit of a turn into the risque and sexually inappropriate. It is not a book for children or young teens. Incest is not a good look for comics of any kind. Still, the point being made is moral, not decadent.

Minmei is front and center this time around (and in the next volume), and it's a huge payoff. Really good that we get to learn a little more about Li; out of the three great lords, he was for a time the most mysterious (with Rozenmann and Ivanovic you know what you were getting right off the bat). The talking mouse that Minmei encounters is a surprise, and the reason behind it is impressive. Also good that the beginning followed up with that vlogger in the Bund (complete with a subtle background character callback to the very first volume); wonder what the endgame is there.
