Men were beasts and the Felmont men more debauched and depraved than all the rest put together—the viscount needed to wed her for her money, though, and her uncles had threatened her with an asylum if she refused to wed. The only way Lizzie could think to protect herself was to form a pact with the Beast she was forced to wed. Spicy.
Maggie Jagger was born in Yorkshire near Haworth, home of the Brontë sisters whose books inspired her with a love of historical romance. Although she’s been living in Canada for years now she can’t seem to lose her accent. She loves to surprise the reader and thinks a plot should have flashes of humor as it entwines the hero and heroine in love.
This may be a good story, but I'll never know. The editing is so BAD I can't get past the first chapter. Last I checked there are suppose to be SPACES BETWEEN WORDS. It is too hard to figure out what is written to really comprehend what you're reading.
The fact I read it through means almost always at least 2 stars. This barely makes it. I don't think I ever really understood exactly what was happening throughout the story.
