No More Playas by Brenda Jackson was a great book. Start off with the biggest playa of them all Dr. Lance Montgomery who hurteAsia he finally met his match who made him feel emotion he never truly felt for any other women . Dr. Asia Fowler was engage to her ex-boyfriend brother Sean Crews he loved her they were close friends. Lance Montgomery has a plan to get Asia back he realizes he loves her he will do anything with the help of Asia sister Claire Fowler and her agent Melissa James. Also we are introduces Lance sister Carrie Montgomery and Marcus cousin Connor Hargrove.
Reading this book was a emotional rollercoaster. The pain, lies, secrets and love were wrapped up perfectly. I read this out of sequence and plan to read the first book in this series, 'The Playa's Handbook' immediately.

Lance's sister Carrie also finds love with Conner while outwitting her blackmailing mother.
3.5-4 of 5 stars I had a good time with this reread from my mama's shelves. There's a big CW for SA of a child that happens off-page that I completely forgot was in here. What I liked most about the first book in the series worked against this second book a bit. I needed more from all the couples that formed in book 1. We got little snapshots woven in throughout the story which I guess is better than nothing. The new couple was hot but I felt they came from left field with their feelings for each other past the lust. Overall No More Playas was a nice read that helped me keep my momentum rolling into October. I can definitely see what my mom liked about it and why I would have picked it up originally. I would recommend it to romance lovers but be sure to keep that CW in mind.
I can handle kidnapping in historical romances, or if they don't know each other beforehand or there's some non-romance reason for it (e.g. the fate of the world or something, like in a SFF or a romantic suspense novel). But I cannot suspension-of-disbelief my way out of stalking and kidnapping (stranding her with him on his island) of the heroine by the alleged hero in a straight contemporary romance. Nope nope nope. Not even when the heroine's sister and alleged friend are in on it.
Maybe this is partially my fault for reading it "out of order" but really there is nothing that could redeem the hero for me.

I was happy that Lance and Asia were able to resolve their issues and got their HEA with each other. I glad they admitted their true feelings for each other and shared the things that were holding them back from having a good healthy relationship. While I Carrie's side story was heartbreaking, I liked it and the final outcome. I was happy she met a great guy and found her HEA as well despite the evilness of her mother.
Because after reading it I realized that it's an awesome book and I like that lance realized that he lived asia after his big mess up I didn't like what David tried to do to Sean or what Edwina tried to do to Carrie and I would recommend this book to all the women in my family
Dr. Lance Montgomery strikes again! The beauty, the charm, and the romance; now for all the right reasons. Grateful for Carrie’s story as well. A great read. I love all the connections and how some stories bring closure from others. Thank you.
I was so glad to read Lance and Asia's story. There was an introduction in the first book in the series. I was happy to have a resolution. I also enjoyed his sister's story. This was a really good book. I enjoyed it a lot.
Dr. Lance Montgomery is the playa of all playas, until he meets Dr. Asia Fowler and loses his mind. Not sure of what is happening to him, he drives her away only to find out he loves her. WHAT! That can't be, he is a MACK. Macks don't fall in love.
Dr. Montgomery has a new book due on the editor's desk by May and is in no shape to even consider writing anything until he comes to terms with his feelings for the fine Dr. Fowler is engaged to another man. Dr Fowler is not BEAT! She does not want to see or hear anything the love doctor has to say.
Will a little trickery and deceit get these two together? Or will it end in disaster?
With a few couples from Playa's Handbook thrown in here and there. No More Playas is another Brenda classic.
I loved how the books came together and Asia and Lance got to their happily ever after! You just can't deny true love! Sean was silly to think he stood a chance at true happiness with his brothers ex anyway! Liz wanted him but he was too blind to see it! Edwina was a awful human being and I was shocked the brothers didn't tell her so! Poor Carrie abused and discarded but thank God for the love of family! I am looking forward to Lyle and Logan's story! It took me a long time to read this series, mainly because they were in book form and I really didn't want to buy them over again in Kindle but they were worth the wait! I still love and believe in Brenda Jackson, she was one of the first romance authors I fell in love with! Now on to Lyle and his HEA romance!
I loved Carrie and Connor's story. The author handled an often swept-under-the-rug issue with a frankness that was effective yet not over the top. Great job Mrs. Jackson!
I was however, disappointed in Lance and Asia's conclusion. Lance was not as dynamic in this sequel and (for me) there was a less believable quality, however I would still recommend the purchase of the Playa's Handbook and No Playas to anyone wanting a good read, with characters who make you laugh, shake your head or tick you off ... just like people do in everyday life.
Although the first installment of the "PLAYAS" series was excellent, I found the 2nd installment to be even better. I was secretly rooting for Lance and he did not disappoint...BRAVO...an excellent, powerful, and profound story of love with Lance and Asia, along with his sister, Carrie and playa Connor. A must read!
If your down about love filled relationships this book will make you really wanted to get up on them. This book take you on ride from the start to finish. It will make u laugh, cry, mad, happy, and sad all the same paragraph. Read this book !
Great, great, great.... The second book of the Playa series, is definitely my favorite so far!!! I love the fact that both Lance and Carrie were able to find love and themselves. I definitely recommend this one.
I thought this was a very good book. Lots of optimism with relationships and how people can change for the better. If you are looking for a happy ending this will deliver. Good romance novel.
I picked this book up on an accident and I can't put it down...Dr. Montgomery is the right one for Asia and I'll be glad when Jackson get's to the good part....
I loved every minute of it...It's a must read if you want a juicy book to read before going to bed...but I must warn you guys you won't get any sleep once you started reading this book
