A very basic introduction to self esteem.
Pros: Asked some interesting questions that made me reflect on my self esteem and self worth.
An easy read for someone wanting to begin a self help journey or read a self help book, without being too complicated and medical.
Cons: Introduces the idea of cycles and CBT as if a new idea they invented, but without naming it as CBT.
And found it repeatedly condemned young parents, single parents and struggling parents for the cause of low self esteem.
Would I recommend? I don’t think I would recommend it to someone of my gen, but would recommend for an older person or someone who perhaps has never read this sort of material before.
Very simple, but what can you expect from under 100 pages! X
