Rate this book
From the New York Times bestselling author of The Great Depression Ahead

To say we live in interesting times would be a gross understatement. Between the stock market's roller coaster ride, real estate collapses, and the repercussions of corporate greed, we could simply throw up our hands in despair. With many so-called financial "experts" giving conflicting "advice," where do you turn?

From here on in, conventional investment wisdom will no longer apply, and investors on every level--from large firms to the individual trader--must drastically re-evaluate their policies in order to survive. But despite the dire news and dark predictions, there are real opportunities to come from the greatest fire sale on financial assets since the early 1930s. In How to Prosper in a Downturn, you'll

-The biggest question mark in regard to our economy
-Where to invest your money when the market is declining
-How to advise your children as to what career they should pursue
-Where the opportunities will be during a downturn
-And more!

Harry Dent Jr. offers long-and-short term tactics for weathering any storm. With the right knowledge and preparation you can take advantage of new wealth opportunities rather than get caught in the downward spiral. As Harry says, you can't change the direction of the winds, but you certainly can reset your sails! How to Prosper in a Downturn is your ultimate survival guide through the next few years and beyond.

This book was pretty good. It had a real pragmatic approach, but it didn't blow me away. Worth the time it takes to listen to it.
