A Step-by-Step Guide to the Art of Distant Healing - with More Than Fifty Practical Exercises. Most of us have prayed for someone facing a health challenge - only to wonder if it actually helped. What if there were a set of skills you could learn to dramatically increase your ability to aid in the healing process? In Distant Healing, Jack Angelo teaches more than fifty exercises that draw on the power of spiritual intention to allow you to send healing energy wherever it is needed.
The book was readable and relatable. I learned a lot, and I will continue to learn from the book and its exercises though I've finished "reading" it in the traditional cover-to-cover sense. My lone complaint is the lack of citations. Angelo frequently uses indigenous (Native; First Nations) beliefs, but cites no sources for those. There are cultural and environmental references that I would've liked having citations to. However, the book also has appendices: a glossary, an index, web resources, and further reading. Then again, I've already cited the content of Angelo's book to others. Has anyone else ever been part of a distant healing group? He uses group exercises, and they sound fascinating but I haven't been able to utilize them.
