counting book with very few words except those of the four bugs featured. The book does count up to five and the only reason my son and I enjoyed it is because the ilustrations are big, bright and eye catching and while the touch and feel parts are small, Saske enjoyed them and seemed engaged. Will definitely revist more when he starts learning to count and learning aboit bugs. It is also a good option for when he may want to interact with a tittle independently.

I like this book because it was about 1, 2, 3, and flies, and bzzzzz, bzzzzzz, bzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. And that you could feel stuff in the book!

The crackling texture on the beetles is my favorite aspect of this book.

The collage-style illustrations are colorful and full of interesting patterns, which seem stimulating to babies and young toddlers. The text is simple and straightforward--counting numbers and naming bugs.

Some of the textures could be a little more exciting. As could a few of the bugs (I really wanted ants to be in there!) But overall it's a decent concept book, and my toddler LOVES it.

This "touch-and-feel" board book is a delightful counting book with fanciful illustrations of bugs rendered in bright colors and basic geometric shapes. The repetitive text is great. My five-year-old read it to my new born with little problem using picture clues and the repetition to figure out the words. In addition, there is a variety of textures to stimulate an infant.

My family loves books like this, with bright colors and lots of textures. This book was no exception. My 2.5yo scolded me for turning the page, when she normally can't turn it fast enough. I just with it counted higher than five. It was over too quickly!

I do not like bugs, as my oldest son can attest, but I do like this cute little touch and feel book! "These are friendly bugs not scary bugs" according to my three-year-old, and I agree.

I really like this book. Not only does it talk about bugs, but it is a counting book AND a touch/feel book. Really great for all ages from baby-toddler!
