I've been a writer, one way or another, all my life. Before I could read, I made up poems and my mom wrote them down for me. In elementary school, my teachers almost always let me write poems or stories instead of requiring me to do art projects. Always, I dreamed of becoming a published writer...and that dream came true! I write novels about sexy, powerful men and independent-minded women, and what happens when they find each other and fall in love. My books are sexy and romantic, and they've very often full of romantic suspense. I write the kinds of books I love to read, and I hope that makes my readers happy.

The passion between these two was so instant and I couldn't help but chuckle every single time they'd "argue". You could tell they wanted to rip each others close off. Big ha ha there because the heroine is a stripper in this novel. The hero was kind of an arrogant snob but thank god he got over it. It was definitely different and worth the read!

This book was one of my owned copy of a Harlequin Mills & Boons Sexy that I acquired back in 2004? Or 2005? It was the very first sexy book I have ever read. And I really liked it. At first because it was really hot. Who wouldn't when you are in your teens?! LOL. Yeah, my eyes are opened wide when I started reading this. I was 14 or 15.

I appreciated the hot boss, Kier O'Connell even when I was in that age. This book made me laugh, teared up a bit and well, made me hot? Lol.

Anyway, I love it.

the beginning and the end were very good and fun, but Keir's brothers and their "conspiracy theory" = lame. Keir's drama part on airport = more lame. Also Cassie from being hurt very fast forgave Keir everything and said she loves him. He didn't crawl, explain himself - nothing. they just suddenly loved each other and got married. -.-*

Cassie adalah pelayan koktail di Hotel dan Kasino Desert Song, dan Keir O'Connell adalah atasannya. Saat Keir menciumnya di acara pernikahan sahabatnya, Cassie merasa tidak pantas. Terlebih ketika Keir meninggalkannya begitu saja.

Keir memutuskan untuk meninggalkan Desert Song setelah enam tahun menjadi CEO di bisnis keluarganya. Dia pergi ke timur untuk memulai usahanya sendiri. Dia membeli kebun anggur lengkap dengan restorannya. Tentu saja Keir membutuhkan manajer restoran. Dan dia tidak menyangka Cassie-lah pelamar yang datang untuk posisi itu.

Keir dan Cassie sering terlibat dalam debat berselisih paham. Keduanya sama-sama keras, dan sama-sama saling menginginkan satu sama lain. Ketika akhirnya Keir memutuskan menjadikan Casssie kekasihnya, Cassie masih menyimpan perasaan tidak pantas menjadi pendamping Keir. Masa lalu Cassie sebagai penari telanjang mungkin tidak cukup baik untuk Keir. Wajar saja sih Cassie punya perasaan seperti itu.

Jadi kisah Keir adalah pembuka dari O'Connells bersaudara. Saya sudah pernah membaca buku #2, jadi mari lanjut ke bu #3

Keir dan Cassie, sama-sama ingin memulai hidup baru, tapi pada akhirnya, mereka bertemu kembali sebagai atasan dan bawahan di tempat berbeda. Mengawali seri O'Connells dengan cukup baik, apalagi dengan interaksi antarsaudara yang sangat dekat.

Nemu buku ini di gramedia dengan hanya 10rb saja. Langsung dibaca dan ga bisa berhenti. And I loved it!!! Suka banget deh. Nice and sweet love story with great character and quite good storyline. Walo halamannya ga banyak, Ms. Marton made the characters (even the secondary) very likeable.
