Red this in my youth and really enjoyed reading it again. What a great life to have created such an iconic brand. Highly recommend to anyone interested in a great American story

Read this book many years ago, the man accomplished a lot. I enjoy biographies of enterprising people. Revlon cosmetics sure were popular for a while, nothing lasts. It was exclusive, only sold in upscale shops back then but that eventually changed. Revlon used to run the most fabulous ads when introducing a new color of lipstick, Fire and Ice was one of the most famous. Very entertaining book.

What can one say about another corporate genius who was both love, hated, shy yet overbearing, and an all around weirdo!

Charles Revson was a self-made man, but he was a crass, orgy-loving, nearly illiterate bully! I will never purchase another Revlon product or by-product ever again!! What an asshole he was!

Why did I bail? No longer interested. Flipped through. Nothing caught my eye.

Funny enough, my favorite polish happens to be Revlon, yet I doubt I'll ever look at it the same way again.
